At Mark Steven Builders, our journey began with a simple goal — to meet the growing need for timely, high-quality construction in Hatteras. After retiring to the area, we quickly saw how few builders and tradesmen were available, and how long families had to wait—sometimes months or even years—to see their homes take shape. We decided to put our passion and experience back to work, building homes that stand the test of time while serving the community we now call home.
Our Founder's Experience
Mark has been dedicated to construction his entire life. With over six decades of hands-on experience, he's worked on everything from small residential projects to large commercial builds, including a 15,000 sq. ft. custom residence in Maryland. His deep understanding of sound building principles and commitment to quality craftsmanship define every project we take on.
